Initial Triage

ASMR Legal can help direct enquiries to the correct Phoenix route.

What to include in your enquiry

It is helpful to include the type of claim, key dates, limitation concerns, who the proposed defendant is, what happened, what evidence is available and whether any court proceedings have already started.

Please do not send large volumes of documents or highly sensitive material until you have been told how to provide documents securely.

Costs, funding and CFA information

Some civil claims may be considered for conditional fee agreement funding, often referred to as “no win, no fee”, depending on the type of claim, evidence, limitation, prospects of success and recoverability.

Funding options, costs, deductions, disbursements and any adverse costs risks should be explained by Phoenix Legal before a client proceeds. Not every claim will be suitable for a CFA or for Phoenix Legal’s civil litigation pathway.

Consultancy and advocacy support

Where appropriate, Phoenix Legal may be able to consider solicitor advocate or consultancy-based work, including review, case strategy, advocacy support or litigation input. This will depend on the nature of the matter, availability and regulatory suitability.
